E color and VS1 clarity is a higher specification than we use across most of the collection, and with an emerald cut it is necessary rather than indulgent. Step-cut facets act like clean glass panes into the stone, so any warmth or inclusion would be visible immediately. At 4 and 5 carats, that grade is what keeps it looking like ice.

• Solid 14k gold will not tarnish or fade with proper care.
• Wipe the table of the stone with a soft lint-free cloth. Emerald cuts show every fingerprint, and that is usually all that is dulling them.
• Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working around the inside edge of the bezel where product collects.
• Put it on after perfume, sunscreen and hair spray, and take it off before swimming.
