A round brilliant lab-grown diamond anchors the pendant at the chain, suspending a dramatically larger pear-cut diamond below in a cascade that is at once architectural and deeply romantic. The size contrast between the two stones is the design. A small round above gives you immediate sparkle at eye level, and the larger pear below creates length and movement. That hierarchy is why even the 1.15ct reads as a considered piece rather than a modest pendant.

✦ How to Wear It

Give it a bare neckline. At 16" the pear rests just above the décolletage, which is the most flattering placement and the one that shows the drop's movement best. At 18" it falls lower and reads more editorial.

Keep whatever you layer with it short and simple, so nothing interrupts the drop. The Serene on a shorter chain above works well because a flat bezel is a quiet contrast to a swinging pear. Wear it with your hair up. The whole design is built around an unobstructed line from ear to collarbone.

• Solid 14k gold will not tarnish or fade with proper care.
• Clean both stones with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Because the pear swings, its back face collects more skin oil than a fixed pendant does.
• Take particular care of the point of the pear. It is the thinnest part of any diamond shape, and knocks against hard surfaces are what damage it.
• Put it on last, after perfume and hair products, and remove it before swimming.
• Store it hanging so the fine chain does not knot around the drop.
