Give it a bare neckline. At 16" the pear rests just above the décolletage, which is the most flattering placement and the one that shows the drop's movement best. At 18" it falls lower and reads more editorial.

• Solid 14k gold will not tarnish or fade with proper care.
• Clean both stones with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Because the pear swings, its back face collects more skin oil than a fixed pendant does.
• Take particular care of the point of the pear. It is the thinnest part of any diamond shape, and knocks against hard surfaces are what damage it.
• Put it on last, after perfume and hair products, and remove it before swimming.
• Store it hanging so the fine chain does not knot around the drop.
