Ridged Gold

• Metal: Solid 14k gold throughout, in yellow, white or rose. Not plated, not gold-filled, not vermeil.
• Karat: 14k is 58.5 percent pure gold, alloyed for hardness. That hardness is what lets the ridges hold a crisp edge instead of rounding off with wear.
• Finish: High polish across every ridge face, with the recesses cut clean so the pattern stays graphic rather than blurry.
• Weight: Substantial. This is a wide band with real metal in it, and you feel that on the hand. The weight is most of why it wears like a serious ring.

On the index finger, alone, if you want it read as a statement. On the ring finger it works as a wedding band for a woman who was never going to wear a plain one.

As a stack anchor it is unbeatable. Put a fine diamond band on either side and the texture gives them somewhere to sit. • Solid 14k gold does not tarnish or fade.
• Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. The ridges are open and shallow, so they rinse clean easily and do not trap debris the way a pavé setting does.
• Take it off before lifting. A wide band takes bar pressure straight into its shape, and gold is soft enough to go out of round.
• Remove before swimming. Chlorine attacks the alloys in gold over time.
• Fine surface scratches on a polished band are normal with wear and can be professionally polished out completely.
• Store it away from fine chains so the ridges do not catch a link.
